Organic Triphala Powder

What is it:

A popular herb in Ayurveda with references dating back to 1500 BC in Sushruta Samhita, Triphala is made from the dried powder of three different fruits (Amla, Bibhitaki & Haritaki) - hence the name: tri (Three) and phala (Fruit). It is highly revered in Indian culture, and believed to care for the human body as a mother cares for her children. Fun Fact: The Sushruta Samhita contains descriptions of 1120 illnesses and 700 medicinal plants, including comprehensive research on Triphala and its benefits.

How to use: 

Wellness*: Mix 1 tsp of the powder in a little bit of boiling water. Add a sweetener - maple syrup, honey or sugar. If you prefer a hot latte, top it up with hot milk of choice, otherwise add ice and top it up with cold milk!

It can also be added directly to your favourite shakes, smoothies, oatmeal, soups or curries for an added boost.

Skin/Hair Care: Mix the desired amount in your face pack, hair mask, etc. and apply directly on your face or scalp. It can also be infused in any oil for direct application!
