1. What does Adri mean?

Adri is the Sanskrit word for 'Mountain'. The company's name is an ode to the mighty Himalayas in India where most of these herbs originated. The locals there have been using the purest forms of these herbs for cooking, medicinal and cosmetic purposes since thousands of years. Through Adri Wellness, we want to ensure that we can share some of this goodness with everyone else as well!

2. Where are AW products sourced from?

All AW herbs come directly from small or medium sized farms in India that have been growing these herbs for years. This ensures that our products are procured as close to the source as possible.

3. If your herbs are packed with health benefits, why don't you say so on your packaging?

Since we are a proud Canadian company, we are subject to Canadian health regulations. At the moment, all our products are marketed as food supplements and thus cannot be openly considered for their medicinal use on the packaging. If we do so, they would be categorized under the jurisdiction of Health Canada and will need to be labelled and approved as medicines. This is very different from the United States where herbs can be freely marketed as food and medicinal use simultaneously, without official governmental approvals. We believe that taking the herbs as food and including them as part of your diet, especially if you are a beginner, is a bit more natural than considering it like another ‘medicine’ you are bound to take. As Shakespeare said, “What’s in a name?" ;)

1. How many servings are in each pack?

30 servings

2. Your suggested serving each packing is 3 gm/day but your 30 day supply comes with 100 gm quantity. Why is that?

AW herbs come in the form of fine powders which may result in some powder escaping to the air when you open the container. To ensure that you get an extra bang for your buck and to account for any wastage, we give you a little extra goodness.

3. Why aren't my herbs dissolving completely in my drink?

Our powders are very fine and are made directly from rich, organic, raw herbs without the addition of any preservatives, additives or flavour enhancers. That is why, they may not dissolve completely in your drink. When consuming in a hot or cold drink, start by taking a little amount of hot water and mixing the desired quantity of herb well, preferably with a mini frother. Then add the milk and sweetener of choice. Some residue may still be left which can be eaten at the end for you reap all the benefits! :)

4. I am new to the herb world and do not know how to use them.

We have outlined great information about the richness and use of these herbs in our blogs and we constantly update that section with new recipes and creative ways to include them in your diet. 5. Can these herbs be used for topical applications?

We believe that anything that is good for ingestion is equally as good for topical use. Ayurvedic herbs have been used since centuries for natural skincare and the possibilities are endless to explore!

6. What can I use these herbs for?

Anything is fair game with these herbs - smoothies, oatmeals, hot or cold lattes, savoury dishes, or any baked goods including pancakes, muffins, and cupcakes - these are just examples to start with.

7. Are all your products organic and non-GMO?

Yes! We believe you deserve the best for your body and ensure that all our products are organic, and non-GMO.

8. Are your herbs vegan and nut free?

All our products are vegan and nut free - Absolutely 100%!

9. Do your herbs contain any artificial colours, favours, fragrances, or added preservatives?

AW herbs are free from any artificial colours, flavors, fragrances and added preservatives. They are powdered from their pure, raw form and are all certified organic. Due to this, some of you may find it challenging to get used to the taste; so a good way to start experiencing the benefits of these herbs would be to mask them in your favourite recipes ;)

10. Is there any added sugar in your herbs?

Absolutely not. Some of them may contain minimal amounts of natural sugar as part of their chemistry.

11. What is the typical shelf life of your products?

Our products are completely shelf stable and are good for 2 years once opened. Of course, for ideal freshness and the best experience, consume them within the first 6 months.

12. Can your herbs be blended together?

13. Are there any specific storage instructions for these herbs?

All our herbs can be easily stored at room temperature or your kitchen cupboards for easy access. Just ensure that the lids are closed properly to avoid any moisture buildup over time

14. How will your products benefit me upon consumption?

All our products have gone through very minimal processing to keep their nutritional content intact. When you add these herbs to liquid or solid food, the herbs take their active form and hold the power of benefitting you like any other fruits or veggies. Consuming powdered herbs as part of food is the perfect way to include their richness in your daily life without thinking twice about it

15. How long do I have to take these herbs before I see their benefits?

This varies from person to person. For them to have a lasting effect on you, it is recommended that you use them routinely for at least 2-3 months. If you have ongoing medical conditions, we strongly recommend consulting your health care provider or natural health practitioner before consuming these products.

Yes. We use paper packaging to keep our products sustainable and easy on the environment. All our containers can be either recycled through municipal systems or externally via third parties.
