Organic Manjistha (Rubia Cordifolia) Powder

What is it:

Manjistha means ‘bright red’, which refers to its root colour and its health effects on blood. It has a special place in Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine for its incredible powers. It’s earliest references date back to the Vedic period when it was also used a natural dye across several continents. Fun fact: Warriors wore robes dyed red using Manjistha as a sign of victory.

How to use: 

Wellness*: Mix 1 tsp of the powder in a little bit of boiling water. Add a sweetener - maple syrup, honey or sugar. If you prefer a hot latte, top it up with hot milk of choice, otherwise add ice and top it up with cold milk!

It can also be added directly to your favourite shakes, smoothies, oatmeal, soups or curries for an added boost.

Skin/Hair Care: Mix the desired amount in your face pack, hair mask, etc. and apply directly on your face or scalp. It can also be infused in any oil for direct application!
