What is it:

This deep red root originates from the Mediterranean as early as 2000 BC. Beets are extremely rich in antioxidants, nitrate heavy, and have an excellent nutrient profile. The presence of Betacyanin imparts an amazing, striking colour to them, making their presence known in many industries worldwide. Whether you use this deep red powder for that perfect nutrient dense detox smoothie, or even use it to bake your favourite dessert, the possibilities are endless!

How to use: 

Wellness*: Mix 1 tsp of the powder in a little bit of boiling water. Add a sweetener - maple syrup, honey or sugar. If you prefer a hot latte, top it up with hot milk of choice, otherwise add ice and top it up with cold milk!

It can also be added directly to your favourite shakes, smoothies, oatmeal, baked goods, soups or curries for an added boost.

Skin/Hair Care: Mix the desired amount in your face pack, hair mask, etc. and apply directly on your face or scalp. It can also be infused in any oil for direct application!

Excellent Alternative to Beets

I’ve been an avid beet eater for a few months, but it stains my hands, clothes and, countertops! This has been an excellent alternative! I’m able to use this in smoothies and shakes, tastes amazing and without the added mess ;)

Highly recommend for anyone looking to boost their health naturally!

Everytime I make a smoothie I love to add the Organic Beetroot powder; it is great for the liver and packed with antioxidants and essential vitamins. I also use the powder in my homemade lip balms to add a nice hint of color.
